Bell Norwich

I work as a teacher and teacher trainer at Bell Norwich.  I've been there since 1986.  When I started I was the Social Programme Organiser, but trained (at Bell) to become a teacher a couple of years later.

I teach English to adults from all over the world on Intensive English courses.  Sometimes I teach on more specialised courses, such as exam preparation (FCE, CAE, IELTS etc.), Business English, or English for Special Purposes courses.

I train teachers from all over the world too.  I work on different types of teachers' courses.

CELTA: Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults.  This is a 4 week intensive course for people who have little or no experience in teaching EFL .  

Overseas Teachers' Courses.  These may be for closed groups,  usually from one organisation. We provide a mixture of perhaps methodology, language improvement and  British cultural studies.  We also have open enrolment  courses.  We run special courses in for example, "Multimedia and the Internet" or "Getting the Most out of Your Coursebook".  Teachers from all over the world attend these.
