Music Through Out The Years In England

 

Through out the years England has had a lot of evolution in his music. It all started just like rock but it’s been changing and now there are more than ten types of music. The only thing that kept being the same are that all use guitars, drums and bass.

 

The important  group that started all this type of music where the Beatles:

The integrants where: John Lennon (1940–1980), Paul McCartney (1942—), George Harrison (1943–2001), and Ringo Starr (1940—) helped to define the 1960s.

Glam Rock came after the Beatles with bands like Kiss or Queen, and guitarrists like David Bowie. This type of music also appeard in USA cities like Detroit and Boston.

 

Then appear the Punk Rock with bands like Sex Pistols. The Sex Pistols were a shortlived but iconic and highly influential English punk band. On 24 February 2006, the Sex Pistols were officially inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

 

But then the music changed because of  Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, or Deep Purple. They changed to  heavy metal. Heavy metal is a genre of rock music that emerged as a defined musical style in the 1970s, having its roots in hard rock bands which, between 1967 and 1974, mixed blues and rock to create a hybrid with a thick, heavy, guitar-and-drums-centered sound, characterised by the use of highly-amplified distortion.

And Rock

 

The moderniest is the pop with group like  Spice Girls or James Blunt. Pop music is a genre of popular music distinguished from classical or art music and from folk music.

 

 

In conclusion  the music in England has had an important influence in the world, specially in the music from other countries like USA or  Lantinamerica.
