Hugo Chavez

Chavez has been Venezuela’s President since 1999. He was a soldier who gained power by a coup against the ex President Carlos Andres Perez. When Chavez became President he swore by the Constitution of Venezuela to follow and respect it, but he has broken all of his promises, and the change that Venezuelans were hoping for, failed.

Now a days Venezuela is one of the most dangerous Country in the world, there are more deaths by homicide in Venezuela than in Iraq... People need to go home early in the afternoon to their homes because they are afraid that someone would put a gun to their heads just for a cell phone , a watch , or a car or even kidnapped you for several hours for a ransom , which is pretty normal now a days . I have six friends that have been robbed and one of them kidnapped. As a result Venezuelans have taken measures to protect their families. Most of the cars are bullet proof, and the houses have electrocutical fence and so on, but, what about the people that cannot afford all of this which is more than the half of the population?

Imagine their fear when this people go to their homes and not knowing if they are going to make it through the day.

Venezuelan are very hard working people who get up at 5:00 AM or even 4:00 Am to work and go back home at 10:00 PM . Many families have grown from nothing and had made their factories, Companies, big agricultural lands, etc. All of this efforts made by them to have a more developed Country has been taken away because the government are very resentful people. As an Example there is a Family in Venezuela that made a Factory named Polar which provides many products, the government took over the Factory and now it’s abandoned by the government , and so on …

There are so many things to tell about Venezuela now a days , but Venezuela never have been like this before and it’s a shame because it has so many fruits to give like the petrol , that Chavez always give to other Countries like Ecuador , Bolivia , Nicaragua , etc . The fear that people feel about the insecurity or if the are going to take away your fabric lands or Companies is incredible so if you think that Venezuela is all right it isn’t live it experienced it and then tell me your story .
