STUDYING
ABROAD
Sometimes
parents prefer keeping their children with them at home after the high school
than permitting them to study abroad. So im going to
compare the life of a student who is studying abroad with a student who remain in the same city to follow his studies, being
inclined myself for the first option.
Firstly,
and because I had to start my degree in the same place where I was born I would
like to start telling the advantages of studying in your city. I was bitterly
disappointed when my parents inform me that I couldn’t go abroad. Whereas there
are some advantages such us the quality of life, your friends and family, or
hobbies that maybe you can’t continue if you go abroad. Moreover, some people who
leave their city loose their mind and their control. The reason is that you are
more independent, and the freedom fill your life, so if you cant control
yourself you probably will fail in your objective, and may represent a set back
in your life.
In other
hand, the disadvantages are stronger. Study abroad permits you to grow as an
adult, because of the freedom and the independence. A person who doesn’t study
abroad could fell highly strung in the future. You have to accept your
responsibilities and respect it. Moreover, moving to another city allows
you to know other cultures, meet a lot of people who arrive from many other
cities with one thing in common: the same objective. Probably you would meet
friends for the rest of your life.
In
conclusion, studying abroad is beneficial for your growth. If I am wealthy in
the future, I will try to convince my son or daughter that studying in other
city is a good decision.
