Venezuela is a really beautiful country in South
America, we are very lucky with all the things we have back there.
We have desert, beach, snow, forest, everything actually. We have a population
of 26 million people.
One of the most touristic places
in my country is Canaima. This is located in the south, a state called Bolivar.
It is a national park and the second largest park in the country. There, you
can find the largest waterfall on earth with 1.002 meters called Angel’s fall and
a lot of cliff that make great scenery from Canaima. This landscape has a lot
of great mountains and rainfalls all over making this park, unique in the
world. Also here you can find the Great Savannah called in spanish
La Gran Sabana were you can find tribe of natives called Pemon.
Venezuela has a great variety of beaches; one of them is Archipielago
Los Roques, a group of islands located in the north of Caracas, the capital. It represents one of
the most important touristic place in Venezuela and is actually a national
park. Because of his beautiful and untouched coral reef, it attracts many
visitors around the world, especially from Europe.
It is considered the biggest national park in Latin
America within more than 30 islands.
We also have a desert in Venezuela and is
located in Coro,
Falcon at the northeast of the country. It is also a National park and it is
called Medanos de Coro. Te massive sand dunes can
reach a 40 meters height but they are constantly
changing because of the hard wind.
As you can see Venezuela is a very
beautiful country but it has a very big damage because of the government right now.
