Mandy is a 24-year-old saleswoman from Cambridge. She has always lived here.

Her whole life she has been fascinated with fashion, as a child her dream was to become a fashion-designer.

We interviewed her on Sunday afternoon, because the shops here are also open on Sundays. Mandy likes working on Sundays, for the reason that she earns more money, so she can buy more clothes. But she doesn’t only need money for fashion, she also likes the nightlife in London: “I really love the nightlife in London, but I don’t want to live there, it’s too expensive,” she explained.

Mandy works for “Krisp”, which is open seven days a week. She is not the owner of the shop. “If I had the money, I would open my own clothes-shop.” She told us

Before she worked for “Krisp”, she was working in a shoe-shop. But she quit because she didn’t like touching feet and the smell of it.

In “Krisp” she has 5 colleagues between 20 and 28 years old. In general they only have young customers, especially women. “We have mostly outgoing-clothes and less business-fashion.”
