There are a lot of good hairdressers in Cambridge, but we chose the shop with the nicest girls.

We interviewed an assistant hairdresser called Stephanie. She is a very smart girl. She was very friendly and had enough time for us. Stephanie is 17 years old and lives with her family in Cambridge.

Denise, Stephanie’s boss, is the main stylist. She was also very forthcoming.

Stephanie is a college student and only works two and a half days per week. She is not the only student there, because Nadine another assistant also goes to the Queens College in Cambridge. Nadine was very enthusiastic in our interview. They work there to earn a little bit of money.

Stephanie likes her position very much and she told us that the relationship between other six assistants is good. Her goal for the future is to open their own barbershop.

We quizzed her about her spare time. She said she loves shopping. At the weekends she can’t go to discos because the entry age in England is strictly 18. She laughed a lot because we asked her funny questions. We asked her, if she has a fake passport (She hasn’t got one).

She thinks a disadvantage of her job is that on some days there are more than 30 customers.
